The Lady Heralds opened Olympic League play at home with a 76-59 victory over Heritage Christian. Whittier Christian outscored the Warriors each quarter despite the fact that several Heralds were in foul trouble in the first half. Junior Joleen Corona poured in 31 points by hitting 7 free throws and 11 field goals (2 three pointers) and dished out a team high 5 assists. Junior Amaya Norris was the second leading scored with 8 points to go along with 8 rebounds. Senior Jamee Joseph dominated the boards by grabbing a team high 12 rebounds. Freshman Aidan Sherfey had a team high 5 steals. The Lady Heralds improve their season record to 17-2 and play their next league game at Valley Christian on January 8 at 5:30 pm.
