The Heralds Girls Volleyball team held a Taco Tuesday fundraising dinner tonight before their home game against Sonora. The good eating was a precursor to a great three level sweep of the cross-town rival. The Frosh started the afternoon with a straight set victory, followed by the JV team who also won in straight sets. They both set the table for the Varsity match to end the evening.

The first set did not disappoint as both teams came ready to play. Each team used tough serving runs and great defense to battle hard. The Heralds, however, prevailed squeking out a 25-23 win. Set two was more lopsided as WC held a serve advantage with three aces to win going away 25-15. Sonora proved their mettle by coming back in the third, but the Heralds again found their rythmn, tremendous team defense, timely blocking and contributions from everyone to take the set and match 25-18.
