Game Recap

Two unearned runs by Village Christian in the first inning proved to be the downfall of the Herald baseball team today against the defending Olympic League champions.
Christian Alvis-Labadie led off the 6th inning with a single and Trevor McGee plated him with an rbi double, but that was all the offense the Heralds could muster today.
Josh Hernandez pitched a great game today (not allowing an earned run). He went the distance and kept the Heralds in the ball game.
Congratulations to Village and their pitchers for holding on for the hard-fought league victory.
The Heralds will travel to Jackie Robinson field in Pasadena (right across the street from the Rose Bowl) this Thursday night for a 6:00 pm league game with Maranatha.
